In-Person Registration Dates for the 2021-2022 School Year

Registration for all K-12 students is required each school year. Online registration is open and can be accessed by visiting https://sis2000.tooele.k12.ut.us/Students/Register/Start

Though online registration is the preferred option at this time, parents/guardians can do in-person registration according to the details outlined in this flier. If you have any questions, please contact Sue Medina, Administrative Secretary at 435.833.1900 ext. 1104.

Board of Education Meeting - July 13, 2021

Superintendent names new administrative changes for 2021-2022

Tooele County School District announces the new administration for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year. The school district has moved 17 current employees to new roles and will welcome one new hire to the TCSD leadership team. There are also four new administrative interns that have been chosen for the school year.

Elevated Eats Grand Opening June 23

Join us Wednesday, June 23, from noon to 3 p.m. for the grand opening of Elevated Eats, a nonprofit restaurant and catering company dedicated to helping families in the Tooele County School District pay off school meal balances.
The restaurant is open to the public and is located in the corridor between Detroit Diesel and our main office at 92 Lodestone Way, Tooele. The ceremonial ribbon cutting will take place at noon. Elevated Eats offers various food items including hamburgers, fries, hot daily specials featuring Asian, Mexican, Italian and American cuisine, a daily salad bar, and a build your own sandwich option.

Summer Lunch Feeding Program underway

Our Summer Feeding Program began on Monday, June 7. Curbside pick-up of free breakfast and lunch meals will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 - 11 a.m. for most locations across the county. For specific times and site locations please visit: https://www.tooeleschools.org/apps/pages/summermeals
Meals are for those who are aged 18 and under. Anyone with a disability, regardless of age, may also receive the meals.

Governor lifts mask mandate in K-12 schools

Governor Spencer J. Cox announced the public health order regarding masks in K-12 public schools will no longer be in effect during the final week of school. For Tooele County School District, this is May 24-28, 2021. Our Board of Education and administration have consistently and diligently adhered to all statewide health orders throughout this pandemic in an effort to ensure our staff and students' safety. As such, while masks are still highly encouraged, they will not be required beginning May 24, (click on the article title for more information).

TCSD honors retirees in annual banquet

During the annual Employee Retirement Dinner we honored 30 Tooele County School District employees who've served in the field of education for a combined 757 years! Thank you for your dedication to education.

Learning about Life Cycles in the Classroom

This spring, hundreds of our elementary students learned about the life cycles of various species in a firsthand way. Thanks to the Tooele Education Foundation and a grant from Cargill, students in 95 classrooms across the district either observed caterpillars grow into butterflies, chicks hatching from fertilized eggs in incubators or cared for plants and goldfish in an aquaponics set up.
