School History

Sterling Elementary came into existence in the Fall of 2016 when the school district bonded for 2 new elementary schools.  One of those schools would be built to replace the two aging elementary's of East and Harris.  The district decided to combine the school of East and Harris and created a new school called Sterling.  The new building is currently being built where East Elementary was on 7th Street.   Sterling is currently going to school on the Harris site with a portable village.  We will be moving into our new building sometime during the 2017-2018 school year.   Keep up with the progress of the new building as we provide drone coverage once a month, under the video tab.
